True Crime

Although we are glad to be out of Logan, some days we get a reminder of how amazing it was.

Case in point, this police blotter item I just read:

"USU Police and Logan City Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at Aggie Village. Upon arrival police discovered that there had been no domestic dispute and that there had been a pillow fight going on that was a little loud. Police advised the residents to keep the noise down and cleared the area."

For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of living on the USU campus, Aggie Village is the married student housing and apparently there are some OUT OF CONTROL pillow fights.

Now, a little back story as to why our blog is named what it is. One morning Deven awoke to find her poor jeep had been broken into. After warning our neighbor, he simply glared and said, "Welcome to the f-ing hood." This prompted us to do a search for all the crime in our area. Not much to report except, oh, approximately 30 assaults in the past 6 months on our block. One occurring basically on our porch.

So yes, sometimes it would be nice to still live in a town where a late-night married couple pillow fight is what we need to be worrying about.

At least we have a legitimate mall now.
